Is it Costume Time?

I have a mad love for Halloween. I waited until the middle of September before decorating, which for me was a major accomplishment.  If I coulda I woulda decorated at the end of August. Here is a preview of some of the house decorations. If you didn't know, you know now--- I love glitter and sparkles. There are on my skulls, pumpkins, "dead" flowers, err where. I even put them bitches on the black roses.

If I was even craftier (i.e. totes had no life), I would make a bunch of the shizz I see on Pinterest , but I totes have a life. If you call drinking wine and watching reality tv a life. Either way, here are some of my fave ideas from good ol' Pinterest. If don't already, go follow me on Pinterest it is where you can find all of these cool pins. Oh, and I totally just buy candy to eat it myself. Screw those little kids, they'll get cavities anyways.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

I love going to the baseball game, but lately I've been more into the tailgating portion of the game. I love the little baby grill that we have and would roll around with the veggie kabobs we make. Since we are in public, I generally try to keep it more classy and just moan while I eat their gloriousness. We literally went to the Royals game and spent until the 6th inning in the parking lot. If some people that is a huge waste of money, it's all good because the Mister's dad gave us the tickets. We got the hook up. We were directly next to home plate in the fourth row. Truthfully, if we had known what pimpass seats these were we probably would have came in sooner... not much sooner since booze and food that we already paid for was with us in the parking lot and the Royals sucked it up. We did get to see Eric Hosmer hit a home run! Which resulted in Jen screaming "I love you and will have your Wolverine babies!" Why Wolverine you ask? I'll let you figure out for yourself. And we were so close, I'm sure that he heard her cray cray ass screaming about Wolverine and was all WTF? Oh, baseball the American past time and favorite sport of drunk asses everywhere.

Why My A$$ Hurts Today

I totally love looking like a sexy beast, but I hate, no loathe working out. I sweat like a pig and smell horrible. My hair gets all nasty and I no longer look cute. I get that is how you know you worked out and shit, but damn can a girl not maintain some semblance of pretty while working out? My face gets all sweaty, which makes my makeup run…. Making me look crazy as fuck.

Minus the cig (although it does make him look super cool),
this is what I look like after working out.

On this note, I started C25k on Sunday. I do not run. I have never been a runner. In high school, I was the girl run/walking my mile in gym and carrying my inhaler while doing it. I was that cool. But, I have come to the realization that I cannot be dependent upon my elliptical and cannot use not having it available as an excuse to be a lazy ass. That is how I currently have a food baby growing. Not a cute look on me. So, I took Tigger on Day1 of C25k and he LOVED it. Me? I tolerated it. I wasn’t sore at all after, but today? Today, is my office day for work and my ass hurts from sitting in my chair. It’s actually more of the saddlebag area that hurts.

I understand. I truly understand.

So, to all my runners out there--- What are your tips, tricks, and advice to make me hate this less?

Make Me Pretty-- A Few of My Faves

Currently, I am loving some simple things that make my routine go more quickly in the morning. I have to be at my school buildings by 7:50 and if I want to miss the parent traffic 7:40, so I need to get out of the house pronto! I am also NOT a morning person, so anything I can do to sleep in further I'm into.

  • Got2be Rockin' It Dry Shampoo this shit works miracles on the mess of hair I have. I have lots of fine, thin hair so it gets greasy by the end of the day. Since I detest blow drying my hair every morning I use this all day, err day and only wash my hair every other. It doesn't give me the white residue, smells as good as it can being a powder flying through the air, and adds body.
  • Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation since I have dry skin, I look for products that are not overly greasy, don't flake on my face, and have long staying power. This shiz totally protects the pretty.  It covers well, although I still spot on concealer because I am vain and don't want dark circles to show through by the end of the day. I totes look like I have a black eye most days when I don't do this.
  • Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust going back to my fine, thin hair, this is the best gift I was ever given. I sprinkle this texturizing powder along all the places I tease and it makes that shit stay for days. It doesn't feel tacky or gross and you learn quickly how much your specific hair needs.
  • L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion this makes my pasty ass look almost human. I put it on after every time I shower, which gives me color. I use the light/medium version. Essentially, I look like a normal person with color.
  • Blistex Rasberry Lemonade Blast makes my kisser look soft not flaky. Yes, I have a flaky kisser. Gross, I know. That's why I use this. It also tastes fab and is super cheap. What's not to love?

What are some of your faves right now? I love trying new products!

What Up?!

I have no super fun pictures for this weekend. It was way chill. I got the crap pulled out of my hair at work on Friday, so needless to say I had a headache most of the weekend. I learned the hard way, I need to learn to watch my back when playing ball in the gym.

The Mister and I did cheap and easy for dinner on Friday, so there were no cute, dressed up pictures. We got down on some chinese buffet, which is cool with me. I can eat chinese food all day, err day I love it so much. Call me fat again, I don't even give a f.

Saturday, we laid around the house and went out to din din. I did shower that day, so I guess that counts as dressing up. I also sat for a half hour in a massage chair to try and get rid of the headache. It help a little bit. I can't wait to buy one of those massage chairs. It's on my bucket list.

Sunday, my Pops came over and the gym room only needs the flooring put down! They boys have doen so much work in such a little but of time. The Mister and I are doing the flooring tonight. I'm so excited. I can't wait to get out of the workout funk I've been in. I realized I am co-dependent on my elliptical. If I don't have it, then I hardle ever convince myself to workout. I mean I do some Blogilates a few times a week, but that aint keepin the food baby away. And how am I supposed to shake that a$$, if I have a food baby?! That shit aint cute.

Hammer Time!

The room is bumping along nicely! There is now a window, with an a/c unit, walls and a ceiling :) You know, everything you need to live comfortably in a garage. At this point, there is actually sheet rock up and we have started mudding. The boys really did cut a hole in the side of the house to put n a window. I've never seen anything like that before! The saw went through layers of  siding, shingles, wood, sheet rock... Our yard has the constant drone of a saw cutting wood and a hammer beating on shit.

Hopefully, the new room will be done soon! I can't wait to put my elliptical in there. Also, I am tired of the boxers stepping on me while I do my yoga in the living room. It would be nice to have a dog free zone to stretch out.
