Have you ever watched that show Hoarders? If you haven't you probably should. It always makes me feel better about my own hoarding tendencies. The Mr. is constantly nagging at me about all the crap I have.... and sometimes I do agree, so I've listed below the 5 ways in which I am a hoarder.
1.
I keep cooking utensils I've never used... and probably
never will. Candy thermometer anyone? Turkey baster? Wait, the turkey baster
could come in handy! bahahah!
2.
I keep hair accessories I have used in the past… When I
was in the fifth grade and I wanted to be just like the Spice Girls. I mean,
butterfly bobby pins are still cool, right? Anyone?
3.
I own more pairs of boots and shoes than anyone I have
met. So much so that I have big plastic tubs filled with them. But, silver
sparkly shoes from my sorority formal my sophomore year will make the perfect
Halloween costume one day! I just know it!
4.
I keep half empty bottles of products that I hated. You
never know when someone wants that sauve shampoo that you’ve used half of.
5.
When we moved I was embarrassed by the amount of boxes
that I had filled with crap, so I moved them myself rather than having the movers
do it. I still have no clue what are in some of the boxes and I packed them and
moved them. #noshameinmyhoardinggame
you and my husband would get along swimmingly. he is a hoarder to the bone. as in in once opened up the storage room and it was FILLED TO THE TOP of empty boxes.

Vodka and Soda
I decided to do a declutter two weekends ago and my living room is still covered in piles of things I don't know what to do with- cell phone chargers from five years ago? Internet routers?
ReplyDeletehahah the products one makes me laugh because i literally use zero beauty products and I have more in my bathroom than a salon! some are years old!!
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing with products! Most of the time I think it's because I get tired of a product when they're still about 10% left in the bottle, so I buy something new but never throw the almost-gone bottle away! They really do pile up!
ReplyDeleteI am a hoarder too. A month ago my husband "made" me go through my socks because I had two drawers FULL and a bag of brand new ones from Fred Meyers from Black Friday a couple of years ago. It's a problem that has taken over our storage unit.
ReplyDeleteLOVING your new blog design!
Thank you so much for realizing me that I'm a kind of hoarder! I have sparkly bobby pins that I bought from 2008's spring festival & ohhh some old wrapping sheets too!!
